Market analysts say Chinese manufacturers are no longer competing only on price. Indonesia has become one of the most important battlegrounds in Southeast Asia. Several recent market studies estimate that SANY’s excavator market share in Indonesia has already reached roughly 20%–22%, driven by strong demand from mining, infrastructure, and large-scale industrial projects.

What was once dominated primarily by Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo CE, and Hitachi is evolving into a far more competitive environment where Chinese manufacturers are becoming major global players rather than regional alternatives.

The shift is especially visible in:
